Men Against Aids Youth Youth ( MAAYGO) which was founded in 2008 as a youth group has transitioned to a local NGO as “ Mission for Advocacy and Advisory for Young Generation- organization’’ ( MAAYGO) working to increase access to holistic health and rights-based services through Comprehensive Health , Mental health services, Access to justice, Economic empowerment for communities, Policy advocacy, and Organizational systems strengthening that are tailored to the needs of the marginalized and vulnerable ( GBMS/MSW , TG,SW , PWIDS and Young KPS ) in Kisumu , Vihiga, Kakamega, Siaya , Homabay and Busia Counties respectively.
MAAYGO has five strategic areas: Comprehensive Health and Mental health services, Access to justice, Economic empowerment for communities, Policy advocacy, and organizational systems strengthening. MAAYGO has a robust innovative strategies tailored to the needs of the marginalized groups, Program evidence that informs policy and quality of interventions, Quality and integrated services, Person-centered approach in delivering services and community informed and led interventions.
