MAAYGO Participates in the Global Fund Key Populations Constituency Feedback Meeting in Naivasha

MAAYGO proudly participated in the Global Fund Key Populations Constituency Feedback Meeting, bringing together stakeholders, community representatives, advocates, and partners committed to strengthening the health and human rights response for key populations in Kenya.

The meeting served as an important platform for dialogue, reflection, and collaborative engagement on the progress, challenges, and opportunities within Global Fund-supported programs. Participants shared experiences and feedback aimed at improving service delivery, strengthening community systems, and ensuring that the voices of key populations remain central in decision-making processes.

During the engagement, discussions focused on meaningful community participation, equitable access to healthcare services, sustainability of interventions, and the importance of community-led monitoring and advocacy. The forum also highlighted the critical role that grassroots organizations continue to play in addressing stigma, discrimination, and barriers to healthcare access.

MAAYGO reaffirmed its commitment to advancing inclusive programming, promoting human rights, and advocating for policies and interventions that respond to the lived realities of key populations and marginalized communities. Through continued collaboration with partners and stakeholders, MAAYGO remains dedicated to ensuring that communities are not only represented but actively involved in shaping programs that affect their health and wellbeing.

Participation in such forums strengthens collective efforts toward achieving equitable healthcare access, social justice, and sustainable community-led solutions across Kenya.

As MAAYGO continues its advocacy and engagement work, the organization remains focused on empowering communities, amplifying marginalized voices, and contributing to a future where everyone can access dignified, inclusive, and quality healthcare services without discrimination.
