Access to HIV Testing Services at Coolers Hotspot Outreach
MAAYGO recently conducted an outreach activity at Chuny Ngich hotspot, where a dedicated peer educator provided health education to community members.
The session focused on sexual and reproductive health, HIV prevention, and safe practices, creating a supportive space where participants could ask questions and receive accurate information. By using a peer-led approach, the outreach built trust, encouraged open dialogue, and empowered individuals to take charge of their health.
This activity reflects the importance of bringing health information directly to communities that might otherwise face barriers to care. It also highlights how peer educators bridge the gap between health services and the people who need them most, strengthening prevention efforts and promoting healthy, informed lifestyles.
Through continued engagement in places like Chuny Ngich hotspot, MAAYGO reinforces its commitment to inclusive, community-centered health services and to reducing the risk of HIV and other infections
