Recognition of MAAYGO’s Role in Advancing HIV Prevention in Siaya County

MAAYGO is honored to be recognized by Dr. Martin Konyango, CEC Health—Siaya County, for our contribution to HIV prevention through increased PrEP uptake and community outreach. This acknowledgment reflects the impact of our ongoing efforts to provide inclusive, community-driven health services.

For over three years, MAAYGO has worked closely with the Siaya County Department of Health to support key and vulnerable populations. Through this partnership, we have expanded access to HIV prevention tools, strengthened outreach to communities, and promoted stigma-free healthcare services.

This recognition reaffirms the importance of collaboration between civil society organizations and government institutions in the fight against HIV. It also motivates our team and partners to continue scaling up interventions that improve access to PrEP, enhance community education, and empower vulnerable groups.
