At MAAYGO, our programmes are rooted in community needs and evidence. We work to ensure that Gender and Sexual Diverse Minority (GSDM) individuals in Kenya have access to health services, protection of their rights, and opportunities to thrive. Our work is organized into three core programme areas:
Health is a fundamental human right. We provide comprehensive HIV and Sexual & Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) services tailored to GSDM communities.
Through these interventions, we reduce health disparities and empower individuals to make informed decisions about their wellbeing.
Equality and justice are central to our mission. We engage policy makers, legal institutions, and community leaders to create lasting structural change.
Our advocacy ensures that GSDM communities are recognized, protected, and free to live with dignity.
Sustainable change is built on evidence and strong leadership. We invest in research, evidence generation, and capacity building to drive effective responses.
By combining research with community leadership, our work—and that of our partners—remains impactful and future-ready.
Across all programme areas, MAAYGO creates safe spaces, empowers communities, and drives policies that respect the rights and dignity of every individual. Together with partners and supporters, we are shaping a society where health, justice, and equality are realities for all.
